Puppy’s First Time Swimming at Wag & Wild (Singapore)

Ever since we read that poodles tend to love swimming, we knew we wanted to give Oliver the opportunity to experience water in a fun & safe environment. Following a fellow dog owner’s recommendation, we ventured out to Jurong East to Wag & Wild, Singapore’s largest dog waterpark.

How It Works

You simply purchase a ticket online for your preferred timeslot of 1-hour. The ticket of S$28 (before GST) grants entrance to 1 Dog + 2 (human) guests. The amount of visitors is limited, meaning there is plenty of space for the dogs to run & swim around.

The Experience

We all had a blast! Oliver turned out to be a natural swimmer and took to it pretty quickly. I think that seeing other dogs swimming confidently encouraged him a lot. He even let us put him on an inflatable toy unicorn – PRICELESS!

One thing to note is that (as far as I could see), no life jackets or dog swimming instructions are provided on the premises. The concept is that the owners accompany and look after their dogs at all times inside the water.

What To Bring

Mandatory for entry

  • Digital copy of your dog’s vaccination passport (last vaccination or titer test must be within a 12 months period)
  • E-Ticket

For the fur kids

  • Towel
  • Shampoo
  • Hair Dryer
  • Comb
  • Water & Snacks
  • Poop bags

For the pawrents

  • Hats
  • Towels
  • Water
  • Plastic Bags to put any wet items in
  • Waterproof camera or phone protector (optional)

Would We Visit Again?

Absolutely! In fact, most of the people we saw that day were frequent visitors and I totally understand why! It’s a fun activity for the fur kids as well as the pawrents. We can’t wait to be back and have Oliver improve his swimming technique.
