At-home outfits with bralettes

Once you go bralette, you never go back.

Last year I started to incorporate bralettes into my wardrobe. At first, it was just me following a trend (2016 was the year of the bralette, they were literally all over Instagram and Pinterest), but then they became sort of a necessity.

Feminine, comfortable and versatile, bralettes are now the foundation of all my at-home outfits. They provide support while making me feel confident and put together.

Today I thought I’d share 3 ways I like to style bralettes for a comfy day at home.

Bralette x Silk Tank

Love me some lace details and a bit of off shoulder action. Silk tanks are my at-home uniform because you can dress them up or down. This racerback top and bralette look like they were made for each other.

Bralette x Denim button up

Casual meets sexy with some lace peeking out from under a denim shirt. Add a wraparound choker for an extra detail.

Lace on Lace

On those days I want to feel a bit more fancy, I like to go for a lacy white top. Wearing black underwear with a white top is a faux pas according to some, but I absolutely love the contrast. Plus, I’m at home… I can wear whatever I want!

I’ve tried many different types of bralettes, and this lace T-back bra by Rising Lotus is definitely a favourite of mine. The bra is 100% cotton, which makes it breathable and soft to the skin. I love the fit and the design is a perfect blend of cute and sexy.

If you haven’t tried bralettes yet, I invite you to get yourself one, try it on and see how you feel. Rising Lotus Intimates range feature a variety of styles in crochet, lace and strappy designs – you’ll definitely find one that you like!
