Top 5 spots in Tiong Bahru (Singapore)

Tiong Bahru is probably one my favorite spots in Singapore. I love strolling around the little side streets while hopping in and out quaint cafes and boutiques. If you are into photography, go early in the morning and you’ll be in for such a treat – every corner is a photo opportunity!

Here are my top 5 (and Insta-worthy) spots in Tiong Bahru

Tiong Bahru Bakery

This iconic bakery is rumoured to have the best French pastries in Singapore. Fuel up with a latte and crisp butter croissant and hit the road!

56 Eng Hoon Street, #01-70, Singapore 160056

Plain Vanilla Bakery

This bakery-slash-café-slash-décor shop is the epitome of Hygge. Think herbal tea, cupcakes, candles, beauty products all in one place…

Whisk Café

If you are into monochromatic, clean and minimalist décor, don’t miss this café. It offers a pretty selection of cakes, cookies, brownies, croissants, cinnamon rolls, macarons, and all sorts of other sweet treats.

PS Café Petit

Arguably one the most stylish facades around the hood, PS Café Petit is the perfect spot for a date with girlfriends over a glass of rosé.

BooksActually

No Tiong Bahru tour would be complete without a visit to BooksActually. This famous bookshop is where you can easily lose track of time browsing around their amazing selection of local books and carefully selected reads from the world.
