I’m very low maintenance when it comes to make up. Firstly because I don’t like buying too many things that I know I will not end up using and secondly, because I just got used to spending 5min max on it and can’t seem to be able to break the habit.

Today I thought it’d be fun to share my everyday make up essentials (I only have one blush, one mascara, one eyeliner so these are literally essentials). Many of these products I’ve purchased more than twice so they are also products I swear by and would recommend to my friends.

Sooooo… this is all the stuff that goes onto my face everyday (after moisturizer of course, always moisturize!)

Every Day Make Up_1

A good mix of Western and Asian make up brands

Base

Foundation – Etude House Stay Up Foundation in ‘Sand’
Concealer – Benefit Erase Paste
Powder – Excel Clear Lucent Powder

Every Day Make Up_2

This is my third bottle of Etude House Stay Up Foundation, it’s my holy grail foundation. It has medium coverage and applies effortlessly on the skin. I like applying it with a dense brush and then gently even it out with my fingers to avoid creases.

I then gently apply my favourite concealer with my fingers.

Lastly, I set the foundation and concealer with translucent powder. I’m trying this product by the Japanese brand Excel and I’m loving it so far!

Eyes

Eyeshadow – Natura Glace Eyeshadow Palette
Eyebrow Pencil – Excel
Liquid Eyeliner – Integrate
Mascara – Lancome Hypnose Drama

Every Day Make Up_4

Moving on to eyes, I first fill out my eyebrows with this amazing eyebrow liner from Excel that comes with a pencil, a tinted sponge applicator and brush all in one. I later found out it is one of the most popular make items in 2015 in Japan!

After that, I apply some light colour eyeshadow and attempt a smoky eye with a bit of brown if I’m in the mood (not that often). Japanese Brand Natura Glace makes organic mineral eyeshadows with amazing colour pay off.

I simply cannot leave the house without eyeliner (I don’t feel like myself without it – anyone else feels that way?!). So far this one by the Japanese brand Integrate is my favourite.

As for mascara, I find that Lancome’s Hypnose Drama gives me the right amount of curl and volume. It does clump a bit though, but the fact that it easily wears off with warm water makes up for it.

Every Day Make Up_5

Love love love this product. This is my 4th tube.

Final Touches

Blush – L’oreal Lucent Magique Glow Blush in Earthy Coral
Lip gloss – Aqua Organic in Apricot Pink

Every Day Make Up_6

Coral all day every day

Lastly a bit of blush and a lipgloss. I find that coral shades are the most flattering for olive skin tones, especially in summer.

Every Day Make Up_7

This lipgloss smells like lavender essential oil. If you ever go to Japan, check out this brand!

That’s all for my everyday make up look and essentials. A little biased selection on the products (Can you tell I love Japanese make up brands?) but hope you enjoyed nonetheless!
